How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Behaviour Mentor – SEMH School – Southwark – September Start – Long-Term Role – £115–£120 Per Day

    * Behaviour Mentor required in the borough of Southwark

    * Behaviour Mentor required for a 1:1 intervention and classroom support role

    * Behaviour Mentor required to support students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and challenging behaviour

    * Behaviour Mentor required for a long-term position from September 2026

    * Physical Intervention/Restraint Training is highly desirable

    If so, this Behaviour Mentor role in Southwark could be the perfect opportunity for you.

    The Role – Behaviour Mentor – Southwark

    We are looking for a confident and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join an SEMH school in Southwark from September 2026 on a long-term basis.

    As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who may experience behavioural and emotional difficulties linked to SEMH, ADHD, ASD, social and emotional needs and challenging behaviour.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    * Providing 1:1 intervention and mentoring support

    * Supporting students within the classroom and across the school

    * Helping students manage and regulate their behaviour and emotions

    * Supporting students to engage positively with their learning

    * Monitoring behaviour and helping students remain focused and in lessons

    * Supporting students during break and lunchtime

    * Patrolling the school during lesson times to encourage attendance and engagement

    * Building positive and trusting relationships with students

    * Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff and the wider behaviour team

    Physical Intervention/Restraint Training is highly desirable, although relevant experience in behaviour management and pastoral support will also be considered.

    This is an SEMH school in Southwark with a strong focus on supporting students' behaviour, wellbeing and personal development.

    The school has an established pastoral and behaviour support team and is looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor who can make a positive contribution to both the staff team and the students.
