How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Supporting and managing critical project plans, timelines and milestones for Royal Ascot, The Open Championship and other key events.
Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.

Playing a key role in the delivery of the prestigious Royal Enclosure during Royal Ascot.
Supporting the planning and execution of high-profile hospitality events from concept through to delivery.
Leading operational activity on event days, ensuring exceptional standards of service and guest experience.

    Stakeholder & Client Management

Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, racecourse teams and key stakeholders.
Acting as a central point of contact throughout the event lifecycle.
Conducting pre-event planning meetings and ensuring client expectations are exceeded.

    Planning & Coordination

Managing the development and approval of event layouts and temporary structure plans to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance.
Collaborating with internal departments and external partners to achieve successful outcomes.
Supporting the Catering Services Director with wider business projects and initiatives.

    Continuous Improvement

    Conducting post-event reviews and evaluations.
Gathering feedback, analysing outcomes and identifying opportunities to enhance future events.
Producing detailed reports and recommendations for stakeholders.

Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
    Outstanding planning and organisational abilities.
Experience coordinating multiple projects, priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
    Excellent communication and presentation skills.
The ability to influence and collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to make decisions under pressure.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
