How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    As QA Manager, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining robust quality assurance processes across the project. You will work closely with project management, engineering, site delivery and supply chain teams to ensure works are delivered in accordance with contractual, technical and regulatory requirements.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    * Developing and implementing the project Quality Management Plan and associated procedures.

    * Managing and maintaining the project Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems.

    * Ensuring compliance within relevant rail projects

    * Monitoring project performance against quality standards, specifications and approved documentation.

    * Managing inspection and test plans (ITPs), quality plans, inspection records and associated documentation.

    * Leading quality audits, inspections and assurance activities across the project.

    * Identifying non-conformances, ensuring effective corrective and preventative actions are implemented.

    * Working closely with site teams to promote a strong quality culture.

    * Managing quality interfaces between the contractor, client, designers, subcontractors and supply chain.

    * Supporting the preparation of handover, completion and quality dossiers.

    * Providing quality reports, KPIs and performance updates to senior project management.

    * Supporting internal and external audits and ensuring timely close-out of actions.

    * Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality requirements are understood and consistently achieved.

    We are looking for an experienced QA Manager / Quality Manager with a strong background in rail, M&E, infrastructure, construction or major projects.

    Ideally, you will have:

    * Proven experience working in a Quality Manager or QA/QC management position.

    * Experience within the rail or major infrastructure sector.

    * Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 principles.

    * Experience developing and managing ITPs, quality plans, audits and NCR processes.

    * A strong understanding of engineering and construction quality requirements.

    * Experience working with clients, consultants, principal contractors and supply chains.

    * Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

    * The ability to challenge constructively and drive quality standards across a project.

    * Experience working within highly regulated, safety-critical environments would be highly advantageous
