Production Planner

Our client BAE Systems, a specialist in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking two Production Planners to join their team in Portsmouth. This role is offered on a 10-month contract basis, working full-time onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and maintaining detailed production schedules
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
Monitoring production processes and adjusting schedules as necessary to accommodate changes
Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to manage materials and inventory
Analysing and reporting on production performance and efficiency

Job Requirements:

Experience in production planning, preferably within the Defence & Security sector
Proficiency in relevant production planning software
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work full-time onsite in Portsmouth
