Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in the drilling of cable percussive, rotary boreholes, or mini rig boreholes
Hand digging trial pits
Sampling and labelling of soil, rock, and groundwater samples
Driving a 4x4 vehicle and towing rigs/trailers
Working outdoors in various weather conditions across different locations
Following detailed specifications for site work
Maintaining effective communication with the lead driller, site engineers, and project managers
Contributing to the maintenance and development of management systems for drilling equipment and site operations
Job Requirements:
Experience in geology or a related field
Full driving licence with a licence to tow preferred
CSCS certification
Level 2 NVQ in Land Drilling
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Prepared to work outdoors in varying conditions
Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues
