How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Head of Supply – High Growth Hospitality Events Marketplace Business – Hybrid/ London - £45K + Benefits


    My client is an exciting high growth business who specialise in hospitality events marketplace.


    They are seeking a Head of Supply to join their team. The successful Head of Supply will take end-to-end ownership of the company's supply base, balancing commercial growth, supplier quality, availability, relationships and operational performance, being responsible for developing a supply strategy capable of supporting ambitious growth, whilst ensuring the business continues to offer an exceptional and differentiated proposition to its customers and major event clients.


    This is the perfect role for a high performing Supply Manager looking to join an exciting business who can match their ambition and offer genuine career progression opportunities.


    Responsibilities include:

    • Own and develop the overall supply strategy, KPIs and performance of the supplier base.
    • Lead the growth and development of a high-quality, commercially valuable supply network.
    • Increase supplier utilisation, bookings and earnings through effective relationship and account management.
    • Develop greater regional supplier depth, enabling the business to deliver more effectively outside London and the South East.
    • Build and manage strategic relationships with key and high-profile suppliers.
    • Develop exclusive, innovative and differentiated supplier partnerships and food & drink concepts for major events.
    • Support the commercial team in winning and retaining major festival, stadium and corporate accounts through a compelling supply proposition.
    • Take ownership of supplier retention, churn, quality and overall supply-side risk.
    • Ensure strong supply liquidity and availability across the marketplace.
    • Drive the use of AI and technology across supplier onboarding, vetting, compliance and ongoing management.
    • Lead, develop and grow the supply team, creating a high-performing and commercially focused function.
    • Report supply performance, opportunities and challenges directly to the C-suite.


    The Ideal Head of Supply Candidate:

    • Proven experience across supply, partnerships, commercial or marketplace operations.
    • Experience within food & beverage, hospitality, events, FMCG or a technology-enabled marketplace would be highly advantageous.
    • A strong existing network across food, drink, hospitality or events.
    • A genuine passion for food, quality and creative event concepts.
    • Proven experience managing strategic partnerships and winning or retaining high-value accounts.
    • Strong commercial acumen, with the confidence to own KPIs, budgets and growth targets.
    • Experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
    • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
    • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
    • A calm, organised and solutions-focused approach, particularly when operating at pace.
    • An entrepreneurial mindset and the desire to help shape a rapidly growing business.
