How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Property Acquisitions Coordinator

    Location: Manchester — hybrid working

    Type: Full-time

    Basic salary: £25,000

Target OTE: £34,600 per year (based on 4 deals per month)

    About Us

NORTH is a property acquisitions business based in Manchester, connecting property sellers with property investors across the UK.

We're building something different. A company that does things the right way — honest with sellers, thorough on due diligence, and genuinely focused on creating deals that work for everyone involved.

We're early in our journey and growing fast. Every person we bring on right now plays a real role in shaping what we become.

    The Opportunity

This is an entry level role designed for someone who is hungry, personable and ready to learn.

You'll be the first point of contact for inbound leads from property owners considering a sale. Your job is to call them quickly, build an initial rapport, gather key information and book them in for a follow-up call with our founder.

You'll also support the wider team with property site visits, collecting signed contracts and other hands-on tasks as needed.

It's a varied role and no two days will look the same.

For the right person, this is a genuine springboard. As you develop your knowledge of the acquisitions process, there is a clear pathway to growing into a full Property Acquisitions Executive role — with increased responsibility, deal involvement and earning potential.

    What You'll Be Doing

    — Calling inbound leads from motivated property sellers quickly and confidently

    — Asking the right qualifying questions to understand their situation

    — Booking qualified sellers in for a follow-up call with the founder

    — Calling potential investors to qualify their interest and book introductory calls

    — Maintaining accurate records in our CRM

    — Visiting properties for site assessments when required

    — Collecting signed contracts and supporting the operations process

    — Supporting the wider team with day-to-day tasks as the business grows

    Who We're Looking For

You don't need property experience. We'll teach you everything you need to know about how we assess deals and work with sellers.

What we can't teach is personality. We need someone who genuinely loves talking to people, picks up the phone without hesitation and can make a stranger feel at ease within the first thirty seconds of a conversation.

We're looking for someone who is:

    — Confident and natural on the phone

    — Warm and personable — people like talking to you

    — Hungry to learn and grow within the business

    — Organised and reliable with follow-up tasks

    — Proactive — you don't wait to be told what to do next

    — Honest and ethical in how you deal with people

    — Comfortable getting out and about for property visits when needed

Backgrounds in customer service, retail, hospitality, estate agency, recruitment or any people-facing role are all relevant. If you're ambitious and brilliant with people, we want to hear from you.

    Compensation & Progression

    Basic salary: £25,000

    Commission: £200 per completed deal

Target OTE: £34,600 per year (based on 4 deals per month)

We expect our Acquisitions Coordinator to be hitting 4 completed deals per month once fully up to speed. If you're the right person for this role, that target should excite you rather than concern you.

Commission is uncapped. Exceed the target and your earnings grow with it.

Beyond the money, this role is designed to grow. We're building our acquisitions team from the ground up and we want our earliest hires to grow into senior positions as the business scales. For the right person, the progression from Acquisitions Coordinator to full Property Acquisitions Executive is a real and near-term opportunity — with increased deal ownership, responsibility and earning potential.
