How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    MENSWEAR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

    Location: Camden, London

    Employment type: Full-time, permanent

    Working arrangement: Office-based

    ABOUT OLYMPIA INTERNATIONAL

Olympia International is a growing fashion design, product development and sourcing business working with major retailers across the UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East.

We develop and manufacture menswear across several owned and licensed brands, working closely with international customers, factories and our product teams in London and Bangladesh.

    THE ROLE

We are looking for an organised and proactive Menswear Product Development Coordinator to help manage products from initial concept and sample development through to order confirmation and production handover.

You will sit at the centre of the product process, ensuring that tech packs, samples, product comments, fabrics, trims, approvals and deadlines are properly coordinated. You will work closely with designers, customers, factories and our overseas product team to keep every development moving forward.

The position would suit someone with experience in menswear product development, fashion design, production, merchandising, garment technology or buying administration who wants broader ownership of the complete product pipeline.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintain an accurate overview of all active menswear developments

    • Track each style from initial brief through sampling, approval and production handover

    • Coordinate tech packs and ensure product information is complete and up to date

    • Review product comments and make sure requested changes are understood and implemented

    • Follow up on samples, fabrics, colours, trims, artwork, labels and packaging

    • Manage sample deadlines and highlight potential delays or missing information

    • Communicate daily with designers, factories and our product teams in Bangladesh

    • Organise fit samples, development samples, salesman samples and approval samples

    • Maintain product trackers, critical paths and development records

    • Prepare products, samples and supporting information for customer meetings

    • Record customer feedback and coordinate the required product amendments

    • Support the preparation of range presentations, line sheets and product selections

    • Ensure confirmed product details are correctly transferred to the production team

    • Check that style information, quantities, delivery requirements and approvals are aligned

    • Keep physical and digital sample libraries organised

    • Follow up consistently with all parties until actions are completed

    • Provide practical support across the London office when product priorities change

    ABOUT YOU

    • Previous experience in fashion product development, design, merchandising, production, garment technology, buying administration or a related position

    • A good understanding of how garments progress from concept through sampling and production

    • Comfortable reading and working with tech packs and product specifications

    • Able to understand and communicate garment, fabric, trim, fit and construction comments

    • Highly organised and capable of managing numerous styles and deadlines simultaneously

    • Strong attention to detail and able to identify missing or conflicting information

    • Confident communicating with overseas factories and internal product teams

    • Comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint and product-development documents

    • Adobe Illustrator experience would be beneficial but is not essential

    • Commercially aware and able to balance design requirements with production realities

    • Willing to take ownership and follow tasks through to completion

    • Menswear experience is strongly preferred

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are less concerned about an exact job title and more interested in finding someone who understands clothing products, enjoys keeping developments organised and can confidently coordinate between different teams.

You may currently be working as a:

    • Product Development Assistant or Coordinator

    • Menswear Design Assistant

    • Assistant Designer

    • Production Coordinator

    • Garment Technologist or Technical Assistant

    • Buying or Merchandising Assistant

    • Sample Coordinator

    • Fashion Account Coordinator with strong product experience

    WHAT WE OFFER

    • Exposure to the complete menswear product-development process

    • The opportunity to work across several brands and product categories

    • Direct contact with international retailers, factories and product teams

    • A varied position with genuine responsibility and room to develop

    • The opportunity to grow into a more senior product-management role as the business expands

Please apply with your CV and a short note explaining your relevant menswear, fashion or product-development experience.
