Private Client Partner – Manchester – £200K + Bonus + Benefits
A new and exciting opportunity, a highly regarded UK law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Partner to join its Manchester office and play a key role in the continued growth and development of its Private Client offering.
This is a standout opportunity for an ambitious Partner looking to take a genuine leadership role in growing, expanding and strengthening an established Manchester presence. You will have the platform, resources and support of a well-regarded national practice, alongside the autonomy to help shape the future direction of the team.
This Private Client Partner role in Manchester would suit a commercially minded lawyer with a strong following and an appetite for business development, who wants to be part of something with significant growth potential. You will work with high-net-worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs and business owners on sophisticated private client matters, while collaborating closely with colleagues across the wider firm.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their own practice, build and strengthen relationships in the Manchester market and contribute to the strategic growth of the Private Client team.
The Role:
- Lead and develop a broad Private Client Practice in Manchester
- Advise HNW individuals, families, entrepreneurs and business owners on complex matters
- Handle sophisticated work including wills, trusts, estate planning, succession and probate
- Develop and grow an existing client following while identifying new business opportunities
- Play a key role in expanding and strengthening the firm's Manchester Private Client presence
- Build relationships with professional intermediaries and introducers across the region
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across other practice areas to maximise cross-referral opportunities
- Contribute to the strategic direction and continued development of the wider Private Client offering
- Support and mentor junior members of the team as the Manchester practice grows
The Candidate:
- Established Private Client Partner with a strong technical background
- Strong track record advising HNW individuals, families and business owners
- Existing client following and demonstrable business development capability
- Commercially minded with a genuine appetite for growth
- Strong network across the Manchester / North West market desirable
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills
- Ambitious and entrepreneurial, with the ability to help shape and develop a growing practice
