Our client is looking for an experienced SENDCo to join their specialist secondary school and make a real difference to young people’s lives.
The school supports pupils with EHCPs, including SEMH, SEND, ASD and ADHD. Many pupils have experienced difficulties in mainstream education, making this a fantastic opportunity for a SEND professional who is passionate about inclusion and improving outcomes.
You’ll lead the school’s SEND provision, oversee EHCP reviews and LAC/PEPs, coordinate interventions, support and develop staff, and work closely with families and external agencies. You’ll also play a key role in quality assurance and the strategic development of SEND provision.
We’re looking for:
- Accredited SENDCo qualification
- QTS or QTLS
- Strong SEND leadership experience
- Excellent knowledge of EHCPs and the SEND Code of Practice
- Experience leading staff and SEND provision
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with complex needs
A great opportunity to take ownership of SEND provision within a specialist setting and have a genuine impact on young people who need the right support to thrive.
