How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Care Coordinator – Home Care

    £28,000 Starting Salary | Woking, Surrey | Full-Time

Ready for the Next Step in Your Care Career?

Are you an experienced Care Worker, Senior Carer, Field Care Supervisor or Care Team Leader who is ready to take the next step in your career?

Perhaps you've had some exposure to rotas, scheduling, arranging cover or coordinating care staff as part of your current role, and you're now looking for an opportunity to develop those skills further.

If so, we'd love to hear from you.

We are working with a highly regarded and growing Home Care provider in Woking, Surrey, who is looking for a caring, organised and motivated individual to join their team as a Care Coordinator.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who understands care from the front line and is ready to take on more responsibility, develop professionally and build a career beyond hands-on care.

A Chance to Progress Your Career

Moving into care coordination doesn't mean leaving your care experience behind — it's about using everything you've learned as a carer in a new way.

You'll play an important role in ensuring clients receive safe, consistent and high-quality care, while supporting the care team who deliver it.

Your front line experience will give you a real understanding of what clients need, what carers experience day-to-day, and the importance of getting the right people in the right place.

If you've had some involvement with staff rotas, scheduling, coordinating visits or arranging cover, that's a great foundation — and you'll have the opportunity to build on this with training and support.

The company is experiencing an exciting period of growth, with genuine opportunities for career progression and development.

    What You'll Be Doing

Working alongside the Registered Care Manager, you'll help coordinate the day-to-day delivery of care, including:

    • Supporting the planning and coordination of care staff and client visits
    • Assisting with rotas and scheduling, including arranging cover when required
    • Helping to ensure the well being of both clients and care staff
    • Supporting care plans and risk assessments
    • Maintaining high standards of care in line with CQC requirements
    • Carrying out care worker spot checks
    • Supporting safeguarding procedures
    • Building positive relationships with clients, families and care workers
    • Liaising with Social Workers, GP practices, NHS Discharge Teams and other professionals
    • Supporting the Registered Care Manager with administration and day-to-day coordination
    • Providing personal care in the community when required
    • Participating in a 1-in-4 weekend on-call rota

    Who Would This Suit?

We're particularly interested in speaking with people who have a genuine background in care and are now looking for their next challenge.

You might currently be working as a:

    • Care Worker / Domiciliary Carer
    • Senior Carer
    • Field Care Supervisor
    • Care Team Leader
    • Senior Support Worker

You may have already had some exposure to rostering, scheduling, arranging cover or coordinating colleagues — perhaps as part of your current role.

You don't need to have spent years working as a Care Coordinator.

What we're really looking for is someone who is:

    • Passionate about providing excellent care
    • Organised and able to manage competing priorities
    • Comfortable communicating with different people
    • Confident and approachable
    • Empathetic and supportive
    • Familiar with the realities of working in Home Care
    • Interested in developing their career and taking on more responsibility

    What You'll Get

    • £28,000 starting salary
    • Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
    • Free parking
    • Company pension
    • Training and development
    • Genuine opportunities for career progression
    • The chance to develop your existing care experience into a professional coordination role
    • The opportunity to make a difference to clients while supporting the wider care team

Your Care Experience Could Be the Start of Something More

If you've built your experience on the front line and are now thinking “what's next for me?”, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

Bring your care experience, people skills and knowledge of the industry — and develop the coordination skills needed to take the next step in your career.
