How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Opportunity


    This role offers the chance to play a key part in the design and delivery of high-quality Workplace, Higher Education and Commercial Building Sectors projects, from early briefing and concept stages through to completion on site. You will contribute to design strategy, spatial planning, and material narratives, ensuring each project responds thoughtfully to the client’s brand, culture, and operational needs.


    You will work closely with directors, coordinating with architects, consultants, and contractors to deliver well-resolved, technically robust schemes. The role combines hands-on design work with growing responsibility for project coordination, client communication, and supporting junior team members as projects progress.


    The Candidate


    • Experience working on workplace and commercial interior projects within a UK-based architecture or interior design practice
    • Strong ability to support concept development, spatial planning, and the translation of briefs into clear design proposals
    • Comfortable contributing across multiple project stages, from early design through detailed design and construction
    • Understanding of workplace standards, building regulations, and coordination with consultants including MEP and cost teams
    • Experience preparing drawings, schedules, and design information to support planning, tender, and construction stages
    • Confident communicating with project teams and participating in client and consultant meetings as required
    • Ability to manage individual workstreams and deadlines while contributing effectively within a wider project team
    • Proactive, organised, and keen to develop both technically and creatively within a supportive studio environment
