We're partnering with a successful and growing organisation to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to support a busy operational function of approximately 100 employees within a customer contact centre environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships with managers, providing practical people advice, and managing a broad range of employee relations matters in a fast-paced setting.
Working as part of a developing HR team, you'll act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, helping to create a positive, engaged and high-performing workplace culture.
A significant focus of this position will be supporting managers within the contact centre operation, where you'll provide proactive and commercially focused HR guidance across a wide range of people matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a variety of employee relations cases, including absence, performance, disciplinary, grievance and conduct matters
- Coaching and supporting managers to build confidence in handling people issues effectively
- Providing clear and pragmatic advice in line with employment legislation and company policies
- Supporting organisational change projects and consultation processes when required
- Identifying trends and underlying causes of people-related issues and recommending improvements
- Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and manager guidance
- Delivering training and coaching to managers on employee relations best practice
- Producing HR reports and insights to support decision-making
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the HR function
We're looking for an HR professional who combines strong employment law knowledge with a practical, people-focused approach.
You'll be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor position
- Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing complex cases independently
- Experience supporting operational, customer service or contact centre environments would be highly advantageous
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- The ability to balance employee wellbeing with commercial business needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- CIPD Level 5 qualification, or equivalent experience
- Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
