How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to join the team delivering a major project in the North East of England..
    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MEP professional to take a key project leadership role on a high-profile data centre development, working within a fast-paced and technically demanding environment.
    The Role
    As MEP Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of all mechanical, electrical and public health services, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
    Key Responsibilities
    * Lead and manage MEP installation and delivery across the project.
    * Coordinate MEP subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and project stakeholders.
    * Manage programme, progress, quality and commercial performance.
    * Ensure works are delivered in accordance with design, specifications and project requirements.
    * Drive coordination between mechanical, electrical and other construction disciplines.
    * Manage inspections, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
    * Identify and resolve technical and programme issues.
    * Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality throughout the project.
    * Attend and lead project meetings, providing clear progress updates and reporting.
    About You
    The successful candidate will have:
    * Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager or Senior MEP professional.
    * Strong experience delivering major construction or data centre projects.
    * A comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
    * Excellent project management, coordination and communication skills.
    * The ability to manage multiple contractors and stakeholders effectively.
    * Strong knowledge of construction programmes, quality and H&S requirements.
    * A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
