This is a fantastic opportunity to join our finance team, with ownership of entity P&L and Balance sheet as well as opportunity to business partner with the wider business to support decision making and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of the Management Accounts to include P&L and Balance Sheet.
Providing reports, insight and analysis on gross margin and overhead variances against both forecast and budget.
Work in close collaboration to support commercial & operational team, with visibility of the senior management team.
Ownership of reconciliation of the Balance Sheet, including Invoice Discounting.
Maintaining and enhancing financial accounting systems, processes and controls.
Ad hoc support for divisional and group analysis and project work.
Preparation of Working papers for Annual Statutory Accounts and assisting with audit reviews.
VAT Calculation, Reconciliation, Reporting & Submission to HMRC.

Working towards becoming a qualified accountant (apprenticeship support offered as part of role)
Strong communicator, able to collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside of finance.
Excellent organisation skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Good problem solving and analytical skills.
