How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Overview

    We are seeking a Junior Planner to join our planning team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our landscaping and civil engineering projects, working closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in construction planning within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Project Planning: Assist in the development of detailed project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

    * Software Utilization: Utilize planning software such as Asta Powerproject and/or Bluebeam to create, update, and monitor project programs.

    * Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, identify potential delays, and propose solutions to maintain schedules.

    * Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to gather information and ensure alignment with project goals.

    * Reporting: Prepare reports, including progress updates, for internal and external stakeholders.

    * Risk Management: Assist in identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts.

    * Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and documentation.

    Skills and Qualifications

    * Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry, ideally in landscaping or civil engineering.

    * Software Skills: Proficiency in Asta Powerproject and/or Bluebeam is highly desirable.

    * Education: A degree or equivalent qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

    * Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams.

    * Organization: Excellent organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
