How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Solar PV Electrician

    Rate: £320 - £360 per day
    Contract type: Contract
    Location: Bromley
    Work pattern: Field-based

    About the role

    We are recruiting an experienced Solar PV Electrician for a contract position carrying out electrical, renewable energy and building-services work across domestic, social housing and commercial properties in Bromley.

    Why this role matters

    This is an opportunity for a qualified Solar PV Electrician to work across a broad range of technologies, including solar PV, battery storage, EV charging and air source heat pumps, alongside testing, inspection and general electrical installations.

    What you’ll do

    * Install solar PV and battery energy storage systems.

    * Complete electrical work associated with EV charging points and air source heat pumps.

    * Carry out EICRs and complete Electrical Installation Certificates accurately.

    * Undertake rewires, ventilation installations and general electrical works.

    * Work across domestic, social housing and commercial properties.

    * Test, inspect and certify completed installations.

    * Complete work safely and to the required technical standards.

    * Attend projects across the Bromley area.

    What we’re looking for

    To be considered for this Solar PV Electrician contract, you must have:

    * A valid ECS Gold Card.

    * City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing, or a recognised equivalent.

    * Previous solar PV and battery energy storage system experience.

    * Experience completing EICRs and Electrical Installation Certificates.

    * The ability to work confidently across varied installation, inspection and testing projects.

    * The ability to travel to projects across Bromley.

    Preferred experience

    * Domestic, social housing or commercial electrical experience.

    * Previous experience working on ECO4 or PAS-compliant projects.

    * Air source heat pump wiring experience.

    * EV charging point installation experience.

    * Ventilation installation experience.

    The Solar PV Electrician will work on a field-based contract across Bromley.
