Location: Yate, Bristol
Salary: £30,000 per annum + yearly bonuses
Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts: 5:00am – 1:00pm / 1:00pm – 10:00pm (42.5 hours per week)

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative (FLT) to join a busy, well-established, and highly organised timber supplier based in Yate, Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for a secure, permanent position from day one. This is not a standard warehouse role - full training will be provided, including on-site training to operate Combi FLT trucks, offering excellent career progression.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Picking timber orders accurately to specific customer measurements using a pick sheet
* Measuring materials accurately (calculators provided, basic maths required)
* Picking and handling large timber products
* Loading and unloading goods and materials safely
* Operating Counterbalance and Combi FLT trucks around the site
* Adhering strictly to all warehouse processes and safety regulations
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience operating a Counterbalance or Reach FLT
* Valid FLT licence preferred, but we welcome in-house, expired licences, or strong practical experience
* A willingness to learn new processes and handle specialized products
* Flexibility to work the weekly rotating shift patterns
* Reliability, a strong work ethic, and good attention to detail
* Physically fit and happy handling larger, heavy items
