How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    MULTI-SKILLS CONSTRUCTION TRAINER| Ipswich | £30,000–£36,000 | Monday-Friday

    Handyman / Multi Trader / Multi Trade Operative / Multi Skilled Operative / Multi Skilled Tradesperson / Property Maintenance Operative / Property Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Operative / Maintenance Technician / Building Maintenance Operative / General Builder / Builder / Construction Operative / Carpenter / Joiner / Plasterer / Bricklayer / Painter & Decorator

    I’m working with a training provider in Ipswich, looking for a Multi-Skills Construction Trainer to deliver practical training to young learners.

    They’re looking for someone with a broad construction background, particularly across plastering, carpentry/joinery and/or bricklaying. Previous teaching experience would be beneficial, but they can support someone in gaining their teaching qualification.

    The role:

    Deliver practical Level 1 construction and multi-skills training
    Teach small groups across a range of construction trades
    Plan and deliver practical and classroom-based sessions
    Monitor learner progress and provide ongoing support
    Help learners develop the skills needed to progress within construction
    Maintain a safe and supportive training environment What they’re looking for:

    Strong construction/multi-trade background
    Experience in plastering, carpentry/joinery, bricklaying or multiple trades
    Relevant industry qualification
    Confident working with and developing young learners
    Teaching/training experience beneficial but not essential
    Good communication and organisational skills What’s on offer:
