How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Serving more than 95,000 merchants across Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore, KPay helps unlock growth potential by building a one-stop platform for financial management, business operations, and digital transformation.

    About the Role

We’re looking for a Strategy & Finance Associate to play a key role in supporting KPay’s UK and EU expansion. This is a highly analytical, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with the Regional team to build financial models, develop business cases, analyse market opportunities, and turn data into commercial decisions. You’ll have the opportunity to build core reporting and forecasting infrastructure from the ground up, while evaluating new markets, customer segments, partnerships, pricing strategies, and growth initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial modelling and analytical skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and wants to see their work directly shape a new market from 0 to 1.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assist on the financial modelling of the entire UK and EU Expansion
    • Report directly to the Regional team as the analytical backbone of the UK launch
    • Build and own business cases for new initiatives: unit economics, CAC/LTV, payback, pricing models, and profitability projections
    • Conduct market research: gather and analyse data on industry trends, customer needs, commercial prospects, and competitive dynamics in the UK landscape
    • Identify new opportunities: research and evaluate customer segments, verticals, and product developments with commercial potential, validated by numbers
    • Run the analytical and structuring work behind commercial partnerships — reviewing deal terms and stress-testing the financial case
    • Stand up core reporting infrastructure: pipeline reporting, forecasting, and commission analytics
    • Monitor performance: track sales, activations, and market share against plan, and recommend adjustments based on the data

    Job Requirements:

    • Min. 1 year of relevant work experience in fintech / payments / strategy / investment / management consulting / or high-growth start-ups; fresh graduates from strong backgrounds are welcome to apply
    • Strong financial literacy — able to build and sanity-check financial models, unit economics, and business cases independently
    • Strong analytical skills and experience with market research and data analysis (advanced Excel required; SQL and data crawling a plus)
    • Excellent communication skills — able to translate numbers into decisions for stakeholders at all levels
    • Rigorous, detail-oriented, and self-driven; energised by building analytical infrastructure from zero
    • Based in the UK; right to work required
