An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented mid-level solicitor/lawyer with strong film finance and film production experience to join a highly regarded specialist media and entertainment practice.
This is a great opportunity for a lawyer looking to work at the heart of the film and television industry, advising a diverse and high-profile client base across the full production and financing lifecycle.
The role
You will work closely with leading clients across the film and television sector, including studios, financiers, production companies and talent.
The role will involve advising on a broad range of matters across film finance, production and development, working on complex and commercially significant transactions alongside an experienced and highly regarded team.
About you
We are looking for a lawyer with:
- Around 3 years’ relevant experience or more, with strong relevant experience in film finance and/or film production.
- Excellent technical knowledge of the film and television industry and its underlying commercial structures.
- Experience advising on production, financing and related entertainment transactions.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
- The ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
- A genuine interest in film, television and the wider entertainment industry.
