Financial Crime Officer (Advisory) opportunity working with a market leading specialty insurer operating within the Lloyd’s Market. This is an essential role where you will support and advise on all pillars of financial crime as well as licensing and authorisations compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and respond to financial crime referrals/ queries in line with regulatory requirements.
- Promote compliance awareness and ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial crime regulations (sanctions, fraud, AML/CTF).
- Provide advice supporting licensing, authorisations, and related conditions.
- Assist with AML/KYC processes and third-party verification requests.
- Review and close escalated financial crime screening alerts.
- Contribute to reviews and updates of financial crime policies and framework documentation.
- Maintain financial crime schedules, logs, and audit trails.
- Support reviews of exceptions, escalations, and incidents, including regulatory reporting.
- Contribute to stakeholder reporting on monitoring activities and risks.
- Assist with broader financial crime initiatives, risk assessments, training, and projects.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Financial Crime experience in the (re)insurance industry.
- Financial Crime experience specifically relation to investigations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge/ experience of the Lloyd’s / London Market is highly desirable.
