How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Project & Change Coordinator

Blackburn | £34,000 | Permanent | Monday to Friday | Hybrid after probation

Are you organised, naturally curious and someone who gets a genuine buzz from making things work better?

Do you enjoy juggling projects, keeping people on track and finding smarter ways of doing things? If so, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for!

We’re delighted to be supporting a successful, award-winning professional services business in Blackburn with the appointment of a Project & Change Coordinator.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some previous administration or project coordination, change, process improvement or IT project experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

    💡 The Role

Working closely with the Project & Change Senior Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping deliver projects and improvements across the business, with a particular focus on IT and technology.

No two days will be exactly the same. You’ll be the person helping keep projects moving, making sure actions are followed up, information is where it needs to be and everyone knows what’s happening.

    You'll be involved in:

Supporting the delivery of IT and wider business projects from start to finish
Helping create and maintain project plans, timelines and milestones
Coordinating actions and keeping stakeholders on track
Building positive relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
Gathering requirements, feedback and project information
Monitoring progress, highlighting risks and helping resolve issues
Preparing project updates and progress reports
Supporting post-project reviews and identifying opportunities to improve
Checking and verifying datasets to support IT projects
Keeping track of cyber security training and phishing simulation results
Maintaining organised project files, documentation and meeting notes
Helping manage the business' software "Bible", including software reviews and renewals
Supporting the Project & Change Senior Manager with wider projects and initiatives
    🚀 What we're looking for

You don't need to be a seasoned Project Manager. We're looking for someone who has some experience working in a project, change, IT, systems or process improvement environment and is ready to take the next step.

    You'll ideally be:

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
A confident communicator who can work with people at all levels
Naturally proactive and someone who doesn't need to be chased
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
Confident using software and systems and interested in technology
Someone who enjoys improving processes and finding better ways of working
Positive, practical and willing to use your initiative
Comfortable working in a busy environment
A great team player who enjoys getting things done!
🌟 What's in it for you?

This isn't simply a job where you'll be coordinating spreadsheets and chasing actions. It's an opportunity to build a genuine career in project and change management, with plenty of exposure to projects, technology and business improvement.

You'll receive ongoing training and development, with support for relevant qualifications and courses, including project management.

    You'll also receive:

    £34,000 salary
Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:00pm core hours, with flexibility
Hybrid working available after your 6-month probation – 2 days per week from home
25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
Increasing holiday entitlement with long service
Office closure over the winter break
    Flexible working and weekly flexitime
    8% employer pension contribution
    Life assurance at 4x salary
    Income protection
    Enhanced family-friendly policies
Flexible benefits including private medical insurance, additional leave and electric vehicle options
Ongoing learning, development and study support
    Free onsite parking
    Cycle to Work scheme
    Recruitment referral incentive
Wellbeing support and access to health, financial and legal advice
    Relaxed dress-for-your-day culture
    Paid overtime where applicable
A genuinely supportive and inclusive working environment
