How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Produce high-quality executive reports, dashboards and performance packs for senior leadership.
Analyse complex project data and translate it into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations.
Work closely with Project Controls disciplines including Planning, Cost, Risk and Change Management.

Identify trends, inconsistencies, risks and opportunities within project data and challenge reporting where required.
Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes and promote the use of digital reporting solutions.
Utilise Power BI, Excel and data visualisation techniques to improve reporting capability and automation.
Work collaboratively with integrated delivery teams, contractors and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Establish strong working relationships across the programme and influence stakeholders to achieve reporting objectives.
Support the development of best practice across project controls, reporting and data analytics.
Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
Lead and support initiatives that improve reporting efficiency, data quality and business intelligence capability.

    About You

We are looking for an experienced reporting or project controls professional who can demonstrate:

Approximately 10 years' relevant experience, ideally gained within major infrastructure, construction or capital programmes.
Previous experience working in a senior/lead reporting position.
Experience working on major projects/programmes valued at £1 billion+.
Proven experience leading, managing, developing and mentoring reporting or project controls teams.
Significant experience delivering programme reporting across complex infrastructure or major capital projects.
Strong understanding of Project Controls, including Planning, Cost, Risk and Change Management.
Proven ability to produce executive-level reports, dashboards and performance packs for senior leadership.
Strong Microsoft Excel capability and experience using Power BI, data visualisation and reporting automation.
Strong understanding of project structures including WBS, CBS and OBS and how these support effective reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
Ability to interpret large volumes of project data and turn them into meaningful business insights.
Experience working within integrated delivery teams and alongside multiple contractors and stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders to deliver reporting objectives and continuous improvement.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment and deliver results under pressure.

    Why Join?

This is an excellent opportunity to take a senior reporting leadership position on a major, high-profile UK infrastructure programme, working alongside experienced project controls, delivery and technical teams.

You will have the opportunity to shape reporting processes, develop a high-performing team and play a key role in improving the quality of information used to drive programme decision-making.
