We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join a major Data Centre project in Blyth, Northumberland.
This is a site-based position responsible for ensuring the project office operates efficiently, supporting senior management and project teams, coordinating facilities and administration, and maintaining a professional working environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the project office space, including refurbishments, layouts and general office requirements.
* Provide administrative support to senior management and department heads.
* Assist with the onboarding of new employees and site personnel.
* Develop, implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
* Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
* Organise and maintain data, spreadsheets, reports and project documentation.
* Manage office-related service agreements and suppliers.
* Oversee office systems, procedures and facilities to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the project office.
* Coordinate general office administration and day-to-day facilities requirements.
* Liaise with internal teams, contractors and external service providers as required.
Requirements
* Previous experience as an Office Manager, Site Administrator, Project Administrator, Facilities Coordinator or similar.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
* High level of attention to detail and confidentiality.
* Previous experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure, data centres or other major projects would be advantageous.
