Salary:
£15.38 to £20.51 per hour, depending on experience
Downstream Scientist Role:
Plan and execute laboratory and pilot-scale studies through hands-on experimentation.
Deliver downstream purification processes to support clinical programs and business milestones.
Provide technical and operational expertise in downstream processing within development laboratories and pilot plant environments.
Author high-quality technical reports and documentation in a timely manner.
Maintain a high standard of GxP compliance during experimental execution and documentation
Support the maintenance and readiness of downstream laboratory equipment.Your Background:
Hold a relevant life science degree or have equivalent working experience.
Some industry experience in biopharmaceutical downstream development or manufacturing.
This role is ideal for an early-career scientist with downstream purification experience who is ready to take technical ownership of processes
Experience with the following would be an advantage
FPLC Chromatography
TFF
Depth Filtration
Process Scale Up
JMP Data Analysis Software.
