Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out Site Contamination Assessments from Stage 1 Tier 1 to Stage 3
Conducting Site Investigations for geotechnical appraisal, infiltration testing, and combined investigations using all common techniques
Monitoring ground gases and groundwater
Scheduling contamination, waste classification, and geotechnical laboratory testing
Writing factual and interpretative reports, with mentorship to support improvement and progression
Managing sites efficiently
Maintaining self-motivation and time management
Applying good Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) practices
Holding a full clean driving licence
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will have an understanding of ground investigation techniques, limitations, and outcomes, as well as strong time management skills and self-motivation. Additionally, the following qualifications and experience are required:
A degree in a relevant field, with a preference for Geology; a related Masters Degree is advantageous
Experience specialising in Ground Investigation and geo-environmental and geotechnical consultancy
A good HSEQ record, with a HSEQ qualification being ideal
