How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Qualified Social Worker – Family Help Pilot Team

    South Coast | £42 per hour + £90 weekly expenses
    Hybrid working – ideally 3 days on-site, with flexibility negotiable

    Leaders in Care are representing a forward-thinking local authority on the South Coast to recruit a Qualified Social Worker for an exciting new Family Help Pilot Team.

    This is a rare opportunity to be part of a dedicated team established to test, evaluate and shape new approaches to supporting children and families—before they are introduced more widely across the service.

    The Role

    You’ll join a collaborative pilot team working alongside AQFHP colleagues to develop a progressive, family-led model of support. Your work will directly influence the future design and delivery of Family Help services.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Delivering high-quality direct work with children, young people and families. Testing integrated, strengths-based and trauma-informed approaches to practice.
    Supporting the development of new assessment and care-planning pathways.
    Trialling the Lead Professional role and innovative supervision arrangements.
    Contributing to reflective practice, co-design sessions and shared learning.
    Capturing insight from the pilot to support evaluation and wider service implementation.
    Promoting early intervention, relationship-based practice and family-led solutions.About You

    You will be a qualified and registered Social Worker with experience supporting children and families. You will be comfortable working in an evolving environment and motivated by the opportunity to help create meaningful, sustainable change.

    You will bring:

    A recognised Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration.
    Relevant experience within Children’s Services, Family Help, Early Help or safeguarding.
    A commitment to strengths-based, relational and trauma-informed practice.
    The creativity and adaptability to test new systems, pathways and ways of working.
    Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary working.
    A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and families.What’s on Offer
