Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a skilled HGV Mobile Technician to join a growing and successful team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician to carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of HGVs, LCVs and trailers at customer locations.
The role will involve working on a variety of powered assets, including trucks with different configurations and specifications, as well as trailers including double-deck and moving-floor trailers.
The Role:
·Carry out servicing, inspections, maintenance and repairs on HGVs, LCVs and trailers
·Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
·Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
·Work on a variety of trailers, including double-deck and moving-floor equipment
·Accurately complete compliance records and job information using an electronic tablet
·Work in line with company procedures, risk assessments and health and safety requirements
·Liaise directly with customers and provide a professional service
·Manage customer expectations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For:
·Previous experience working on HGV and LCV vehicles
·Experience with trailers is highly desirable
·IRTEC registration is advantageous, although training can be provided
·Tail lift and/or moving-floor experience is desirable
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
·Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
·Excellent communication and customer service skills
·Good understanding of health and safety procedures
