Duties
- Fabricate and weld metal components according to technical drawings
- Utilize power tools & machinery for cutting, grinding, and shaping metal
- Assemble fabricated parts to create finished products
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and solve fabrication issues
- Use basic maths skills to measure and cut materials accurately
- Employ hand tools for various fabrication tasks
- Reverse Engineering
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabricating and welding metal
- Proficiency in using power tools, machinery and hand tools
- Proficiency with TIG, MIG and MAG
- Knowledge of sheet metal work, basic developments
- Mechanical aptitude to understand technical drawings and solve fabrication challenges
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
Rate of pay: £16ph - £20ph depending on experience. A weld test will be required.
Hours: 7am – 4pm Monday to Thursday, 12pm finish on Fridays.
