How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

    The Opportunity

    An established specialist building services contractor is looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join its London delivery team.

    The business delivers complex mechanical and electrical building services projects across commercial, healthcare, education, residential and specialist environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising electrical installations, coordinating subcontractors and

    The Role

    As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of electrical works on site.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Supervising electrical installation teams and subcontractors on site.
    Planning and allocating labour to meet programme requirements.
    Coordinating electrical works with mechanical, construction and specialist trades.
    Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and the main contractor.
    Reviewing drawings, specifications and installation requirements.
    Monitoring progress, productivity and workmanship.
    Ensuring installations are completed in accordance with project specifications and approved drawings.
    Coordinating first fix, second fix, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
    Supporting the preparation and implementation of RAMS and Permit to Work requirements.
    Carrying out quality inspections and managing snagging through to completion.
    Identifying technical and programme issues and working with the project team to resolve them.The Company

    You will ideally have:

    Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor within building services.
    Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations.
    Experience supervising electrical subcontractors and site teams.
    Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
    Good understanding of construction programmes and site coordination.
    Strong understanding of RAMS, permits and Health & Safety requirements.
    Excellent communication and organisational skills.
    Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and programme.Package

    £60,000 - £65,000 salary, depending on experience.
