How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    The role

We are appointing senior value leads to run our first-phase value engagements — focused, fixed-scope work that givesan enterprise clienta governed value framework and an evidence-based read across a portfolio of investments or initiatives, before any decisionabout a longer-term platform or managed service.

You will own the value methodology, structure the portfolio, and present an honest, defensible view of what it is worth, where value is at risk, and which investments are worth continuing. The role is deliberately sector-agnostic: the value framework is the constant, and the relevant domain fluency (for example financial services, life sciences, energy or insurance) is brought to each assignment as required.

This is a delivery-and-governance role within engaged clients. The role can progress into Data Inc’sValue Governance Lead role shoulda client proceed to platform deployment — the same person operating the governed platform through its lifecycle.

    What you’ll do

    • Configure and apply the value framework to the client’s portfolio — the value taxonomy (cost value, capacity value and portfolio value — value created or protected), attribution and anti-double-counting rules and evidence standards are providedby our Value Operating Model; you instantiate, apply and govern them, you do not invent them.
    • Structure each initiative or investment consistently — investment, value lens, baseline, target, measures, owner — and resolve double-counting across the portfolio.
    • Classify each by strength of evidence and produce an honest, evidence-tiered portfolio read
    • surfacing, plainly, any investment that has no defensible value case.
    • Partner the client’s Finance function to validatebaselines and evidencestandards and secure sign-off.
    • Design the approach to monitoring realization over time.
    • Present insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders, and demonstrate the framework in the value-management cockpit.
    • On deployment (where a client proceeds), potentially act as Value Governance Lead — authoring and governing the configuration and operating the sign-off cadence, while upholding strict segregation of duties.

    Essential experience &skills

    • 10+ years in value management, benefits realisation, value assurance, portfolio / PMO governance or finance business partnering — with a trackrecord of operating a governed value or benefits process end-to-end, to executive / Finance sign-off.
    • A proven ability to configure, apply and govern a value framework to Finance-grade sign-off
    • classifying initiatives, agreeing baselines, measures and ownership, and running the evidence and sign-off cadence. (Our methodology provides the taxonomy, attribution and evidence standards; the role applies and governs them, not designs them from scratch.)
    • Strong financial and commercial acumen— comfortable across cost, capacityand portfolio (value created or protected) value; able to make value defensible and to engage a Finance function credibly.
    • A track record of translating operational or strategic outcomes into defensible, quantified value with executive and Finance buy-in.
    • The abilityto bring structure to a large, ambiguous portfolio and drive it to a defensible, signed-off position.
    • Credible partnering with CFO / Finance / ExCo stakeholders within an engagement; independent and evidence-first — willing to say when an investment has no defensible case.
    • Comfortable operating enterprise value-management / governed-workflow software.

    Desirable

    • A recognized accountancy or finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA) — advantageous for Finance credibility and valuable for anyone who may progressinto the Value Governance Lead role, but not essential for this engagement scope.
    • A formal benefits credential (Managing Benefits, MoP).
    • Sector fluency relevant to a specific engagement (financial services, life sciences, energy, insurance and others) — brought per assignment.
    • Experience may come from in-house roles (finance business partnering, portfolio / PMO governance, benefitsrealisation, cost / value functions) and/or consulting — what matters is demonstrated operation of a governed value process, not the setting.
    • An advanced degree (MBA or similar).

    Qualifications

There is no mandatory certification for this role; the essential requirements above are experience-based. A recognized accountancy or finance qualification is advantageous (see Desirable), and becomes more relevant on progression to the Value Governance Lead role.

    What we offer

A senior, high-visibility role shaping how major organisations evidence the value of their investment — across sectors— with a clear path from engagement lead into an ongoing value-governance leadership role.
