How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Get Recruited are recruiting on behalf of a well-established cultural and heritage organisation who are looking for a creative Graphic Designerto join their team on a part-time basis.

This is a varied, hands-on position where you'll take ownership of the organisation's visual marketing output, creating high-quality content across print, digital, social media, video and events.

You'll be joining an established and professional organisation where quality is valued over volume. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a broad creative role with plenty of ownership. This would be a great opportunity for someone in a Graphic Designer, Digital Designer, Multimedia Designer, Marketing Designer or similar role.

    THE ROLE:

Creating high-quality marketing and promotional materials including flyers, brochures, posters, banners, invitations and event collateral
Producing engaging digital graphics and multimedia content for the website and social media channels
Creating and editing short-form videos, promotional clips and other multimedia content
Supporting marketing activity around conferences, events, training courses and other organisational projects
Creating visual assets and banners for the website and digital platforms
Editing photography, video and audio content
Ensuring all marketing materials maintain a consistent and professional brand identity
Preparing artwork and files to professional standards for both print and digital use
Creating templates and design materials for use across the wider organisation
Working closely with the Managing Director and colleagues to understand requirements and translate information into engaging visual content
Managing and organising digital assets including photography, videos, design files, logos and templates
Suggesting creative ideas and improvements to how the organisation communicates and presents its work
    THE PERSON:

Previous experience within a Graphic Designer, Digital Designer, Multimedia Designer, Marketing Designer, Multimedia, Digital Content or Creative Marketing role
Strong graphic design skills across both print and digital marketing materials
Confident using Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Experience creating content for websites and social media
Video editing experience using Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or similar would be highly beneficial
Strong understanding of typography, layout, branding and visual communication
Able to demonstrate your experience through a strong creative portfolio
Arabic language skills and/or experience creating Arabic-English marketing materials would be highly advantageous
A genuine interest in cultural, heritage or purpose-led organisations would be beneficial
Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on producing high-quality work
Reliable, thorough and organised with excellent communication skills
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects
Someone who takes pride in their work and isn't afraid to suggest new creative ideas
    THE BENEFITS:

Salary of £40,000-£45,000 pro rata (£25,000-£27,000)
    Part-time position - 21 hours a week
    10% employer pension contribution
13 days annual leave plus bank holidays, based on the part-time working pattern
Medical insurance and life assurance after 2 years' service
Opportunity to take ownership of marketing and creative activity
