How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Company

Our client is a highly successful, family-owned estate agency with an established network of offices across South East London. Offering residential sales, lettings, property management, land and new homes, and financial services, they have built an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding service to both clients and customers.
Due to continued growth within their Development Services division, they are looking to recruit an experienced New Homes Sales Consultant to join their team in Peckham.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential sales professional looking to move into, or continue developing within, the New Homes sector. You'll join an established and successful team, working closely with the Development Director and wider Land and New Homes departments while benefiting from excellent training, genuine progression opportunities and strong earning potential.

    The Role

This is a varied, client-facing role where you'll manage the new homes sales process from initial enquiry through to exchange and completion.
You'll be responsible for generating and qualifying applicants, conducting viewings, negotiating offers and managing your own sales pipeline, while maintaining strong relationships with buyers, developers and other parties throughout the transaction.
Alongside selling new homes developments, you'll also play an important role in generating new business for the department. You'll work closely with the Development Director to identify opportunities through the existing database, site searches and leads from the Land team, as well as helping to secure new valuation and instruction opportunities.
The role would suit an ambitious and commercially minded estate agent who enjoys building relationships, negotiating deals and working within a target-driven environment.

    Key Responsibilities

Register and qualify prospective buyers, identifying their individual property requirements.
Arrange and conduct accompanied viewings across New Homes developments.
Negotiate offers and successfully agree sales between purchasers and clients.
Manage your own sales pipeline from initial enquiry through to exchange and completion.
Proactively progress agreed sales, liaising with solicitors, mortgage brokers, buyers and other relevant parties.
Build and maintain strong relationships with applicants, purchasers, developers and clients.
Work closely with the Development Director to identify and generate new business opportunities.
Generate valuation and instruction opportunities through database activity, canvassing, applicant registration and Land team leads.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date applicant and client database.
Support the marketing of new developments, ensuring online advertising, brochures, signage and other marketing materials are presented accurately and professionally.
Identify opportunities for Financial Services referrals and wider cross-selling.
Maintain excellent knowledge of the local property and New Homes market.
Ensure all activity and documentation complies with relevant legislation and industry standards.
Consistently work towards and exceed individual and departmental sales targets.

    About You

You'll be an experienced residential sales professional with a strong understanding of the London property market and a genuine drive to progress your career within New Homes.
You'll be confident dealing with buyers and clients, comfortable managing transactions from start to finish and motivated by achieving targets and earning commission.
    You'll have:

Previous residential sales experience within the London property market.
A proven track record of working towards and achieving sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Strong sales progression and pipeline management experience.
A proactive approach to generating new business and identifying opportunities.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A confident, positive and professional approach to clients and customers.
The ability to work independently whilst contributing to a successful team.
A full, clean UK driving licence.
Good knowledge of South East London and the surrounding market.
Previous New Homes sales experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
    NAEA/Propertymark qualifications would be advantageous.

    Commission & Earning Potential

In addition to the basic salary, you'll benefit from a competitive commission structure designed to reward both sales performance and new business generation.
    This includes:

Guaranteed commission for your first three months of up to £1,500 per month DOE.
Tiered pay-per-plot commission on properties personally sold.
