How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Are you an experienced Customer Service Advisor or Sales Administrator looking for your next opportunity?

    We are recruiting for a successful global manufacturing business based in Greater Manchester, who are looking for a confident, organised and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join their busy team.

    This is a varied role combining customer service, sales administration and order coordination, working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure a first-class service.

    THE ROLE

    You will be responsible for:

    Handling customer and supplier enquiries via telephone and email.

    Processing orders, quotations and sales enquiries.

    Managing customer queries and complaints professionally.

    Building strong customer and supplier relationships.

    Updating customers on order progress and liaising with Production.

    Maintaining accurate CRM records and documentation.

    Supporting Production Planning with relevant paperwork.

    Coordinating meetings, visits and appointments.

    Providing general administrative support and contributing to a positive customer experience.

    THE PERSON

    We're looking for someone with:

    2+ years' experience in customer service or sales administration.

    Ideally experience of working in either the manufacturing or logistics industry.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Strong organisation and attention to detail.

    Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.

    CRM experience.

    A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work well under pressure.

    A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
