Venatu Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Powder Coater to join our client’s team in HX2, Halifax. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Powder Coater, Industrial Painter, or Paint Sprayer looking for a stable, long-term role within a busy manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing steel products to a high standard, ensuring quality, consistency, and attention to detail throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing steel products for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, and surface preparation
Operating powder coating equipment safely and efficiently
Applying powder coatings evenly to steel components and finished products
Loading and unloading parts onto coating lines, racks, and production areas
Monitoring curing ovens to ensure correct temperature settings and finish quality
Inspecting completed products to ensure they meet quality standards
Carrying out visual quality checks and reporting any issues or defects
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Supporting the wider production team when required
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Powder Coater, Powder Coating Operative, Industrial Painter, Spray Painter, or similar role
Experience working with steel products, fabrication, or metal finishing environments is preferred
Knowledge of preparation and finishing processes
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and positive approach to work
