How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Role: Manufacturing Test Technician

    Job Type: Contract, Onsite

    Duration: 12 Months

    Hours: 35hrs/wk – 7.00am to 14.30pm

    Industry: Advanced Manufacturing

    Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire

    Salary/Rate Expectations: £18.00/hr to £20.00/hr + Overtime

    Profile – Manufacturing Test Technician

They are currently looking for Contract Manufacturing Technician to join their team based at their modern fit for purpose facility.     Duties – Manufacturing Test Technician

    Test, fault finding, and repair of various electrical and electronic systems and components.
    Working with the production team to help in the completion of tasks, including tool assembly, calibration, and testing
    Testing electrical and electromechanical tools based on the procedure and interacting with MRP systems (SAP).
    Responsible for maintaining and repairing the test equipment used to test tools.
    Soldering, crimping and general wiring skills
    Use of hand tools
    Fault finding
    Work in accordance with engineering diagram and schematics
    Skills/Experience – Manufacturing Test Technician

    Further education in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
    Candidates who are currently an Assembler, Electronics Assembler, PCB Assembler, Electrical Assembler, Production Operative, Wire Person, Manufacturing Operative and Technician could be suitable for this position.
