How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Location: West Bromwich

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, with an early finish on Fridays
Working Pattern: Office-based initially, with the option to work from home 1 day per week after successful completion of probation

    About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious and organised graduate to join an established manufacturing business in West Bromwich as an Account Coordinator.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to begin their career within a commercial and manufacturing environment. You will gain experience across customer service, order management, production and logistics, giving you a broad understanding of how a successful manufacturing business operates.

You will work closely with customers, the production team and transport providers to ensure orders progress smoothly from initial enquiry through to delivery.

The role offers genuine opportunities to develop your skills, take on additional responsibility and progress within the company as your experience grows.

    Key Responsibilities

    Customer Management

    * Acting as a key point of contact for customers throughout the order process.

    * Taking orders, handling enquiries and providing customers with regular updates.

    * Building positive and professional customer relationships.

    * Understanding customer requirements and helping to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

    * Supporting the resolution of customer issues and ensuring concerns are dealt with promptly.

    Order & Production Coordination

    * Coordinating the movement of customer orders through the business.

    * Liaising with the shop floor to monitor production progress and ensure jobs remain on schedule.

    * Following up with production and transport teams to keep orders moving.

    * Identifying potential delays and helping to prevent production bottlenecks.

    * Prioritising workloads around customer requirements and agreed delivery dates.

    * Maintaining accurate records and keeping internal systems updated.

    The Ideal Candidate

This role is particularly suited to a graduate or early-career candidate who is looking to develop a long-term career within a manufacturing or commercial environment.

Previous experience in manufacturing or account coordination isn't essential. The company is looking for someone with the right attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn.

    The successful candidate will be:

    * A recent graduate or early-career professional with a genuine desire to develop.

    * Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

    * Confident communicating with customers and colleagues.

    * Proactive and comfortable following up with different departments.

    * Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

    * Commercially minded and interested in understanding how a business operates.

    * Confident using Microsoft Office and standard computer systems.

    * Positive, professional and willing to learn.

A degree in Business, Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related subject would be advantageous, although graduates from other disciplines will also be considered.

    Career Development & Progression

This position offers the opportunity to build a long-term career rather than simply gain an initial graduate role.

As you develop your knowledge of the business and demonstrate your ability, you will have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility and progress into areas such as Account Management, Customer Service, Production Planning, Supply Chain, Operations or Commercial Management.

You will gain exposure to multiple departments and develop valuable commercial, operational and customer-facing skills that can support your progression within the business.

    What's on Offer

    * Salary up to £30,000 per annum.

    * Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, with an early Friday finish.

    * Option to work from home 1 day per week after successful completion of probation.

    * Full training and support from an experienced team.

    * Exposure to multiple areas of an established manufacturing business.

    * Genuine long-term career development and progression opportunities.

If you're a graduate looking for a role where you can learn, develop and build a long-term career, this could be an excellent opportunity to start your career within an established manufacturing environment
