How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    This Customer Service Executive role is responsible for managing customer enquiries, processing orders, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring an excellent customer experience from initial contact through to resolution.

    Description

    Working closely with customers, sales teams, and internal departments, you will play a key role in ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered efficiently while providing outstanding support throughout the customer journey.

    Key Responsibilities

    Act as the first point of contact for customers before and after sales.
    Process customer orders accurately through internal systems and complete post-entry checks.
    Manage customer enquiries through to resolution, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
    Liaise with internal departments to ensure orders are delivered on time.
    Coordinate deliveries and maintain regular communication with customers.
    Support external sales teams with product, order, and process information.
    Handle customer complaints, arrange replacements where necessary, and process credit requests.
    Prepare quotations and provide administrative sales support.

    Profile

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    At least 2 years' experience in a customer service environment.
    Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
    Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
    Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
    A proactive, enthusiastic approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
    Experinace in the manufacturing industry is desirable.
