How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Managing inbound freight and working with freight forwarders, including negotiating shipping rates and exploring new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
Monitoring website order processing and operational performance through NetSuite, Sigma and other systems, resolving bottlenecks and identifying risks or opportunities for improvement
Managing operational and logistics budgets, monitoring costs, investigating variances and taking appropriate action
Taking ownership of deliveries and installations for key customers and trade partners, including tracking dispatched orders and resolving issues
Overseeing stock accuracy, returns and warehouse processes, including investigating discrepancies and coordinating annual stock checks and quarterly PI checks
Working closely with Customer Care, Product, Finance and other teams to ensure a smooth and efficient customer journey
Leading and developing the Supply Chain team, including regular one-to-ones, setting objectives and supporting performance and development
    What we're looking for

Extensive experience in logistics, supply chain or operations within an ecommerce, retail or direct-to-consumer business
Strong working knowledge of NetSuite, including inventory management, order processing, stock adjustments and operational reporting
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership abilities
In-depth demonstrable knowledge of the processes required to import goods from the Far East (Forwarders, Customs etc.)
Working with 3rd party warehouse providers
Strong Microsoft Office skills with demonstrable ability to use Word, Outlook and Excel
    Essential Personal Skills and Competencies

Excellent planning and organisational skills, coupled with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    Strong communication and negotiating skills.
Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
    Able to work under pressure
Ability to lead and influence others.
Capable of embracing the challenges of working in a small but rapidly growing company environment
Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys learning, takes ownership and is happy working in a busy, growing business where no two days are quite the same.
