We are currently looking for an experienced Telehandler Operative to join a busy new build residential construction site in Tamworth, B79. This is an immediate start opportunity for a reliable and experienced operator.
The successful Telehandler Operator will have previous experience working on new build residential sites and be confident operating a telehandler to move and distribute materials around the construction site safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a telehandler safely and efficiently on a busy construction site
Moving and distributing building materials around the site
Loading and unloading materials as required
Assisting trades and site teams with material movements
Following site health and safety procedures
Carrying out daily checks on the telehandler
Supporting general site operations when required
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Requirements
Previous Telehandler experience on a construction site
Experience working on new build residential developments
Experience moving construction materials
CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket
Relevant site experience
Good understanding of construction site health and safety
Reliable and punctual
Able to start immediately
