Join Gi Group supporting our client based in Marston Gate, as a Class 1 Shunter.
This isn't just seasonal help; we are looking for professional shunter for ongoing position!
Role & Responsibilities :
Moving heavy goods vehicle (HGV) trailers around a depot yard or between local companies
Conducting thorough vehicle checks and maintaining accurate digital tachograph records.
Drivers must drive as per clients professional standards which you will be coached and trained on your first day
Ability to manage your Working Time Directive, and Driving Hours rules and Regulations in order to meet compliance expectations, and avoid infringement
Acting as a professional face of the brand when arriving at storesShifts :
Monday to Friday start 19:00

Monday to Friday Day Shift : £20.17ph
Monday to Friday Night Shift : £21.29ph
Weekend / BH : £22.41ph - £25.78ph
Class 1 Driver Requirements
Valid UK Driver Cards (Driving Licence, CPC and DIGI Cards)
Minimum 1 year Class 1 licence + 12 months Class 1 driving experience
Previous experience in store deliveries would be preferred, but is not essential
Max 6 penalty points accepted for minor offences (no DR or DD offences)
Availability to work weekends is essential for this 24/7 operation
Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as an attention to detail
