How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Mobile Vehicle Technician - Bournemouth - Nights 

    £60,000+ OTE | Start & Finish From Home | Company Vehicle | Days Available - Remote

    During your first 12 months, you'll be trained to IMI Level 3 in Electric Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, helping to future-proof your skills as vehicle technology develops.

    Vehicle Technician earning potential of £60,000+ without spending every day stuck in the same workshop?

    This is a mobile role where you'll start and finish from your own driveway, travelling directly to customers and carrying out servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs from a fully equipped mobile vehicle.

    The Role

    You'll travel to customers across the local area carrying out:

    - Servicing and maintenance

    - Mechanical repairs

    - Diagnostics and fault finding

    - General vehicle repairs

    - Customer-facing technical support

    What You'll Need

    - Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician

    - NVQ Level 2 or Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent

    - Minimum one year's relevant qualified experience

    - Full UK driving licence

    - Strong servicing, mechanical repair and diagnostic skills

    - Comfortable working independently and travelling between jobs

    - Professional approach when dealing directly with customers

    Ford experience would be advantageous but isn't essential.
