How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

We are looking for someone who can combine hands-on campaign delivery with strategic thinking – someone who does not just optimise ads, but understands audiences, customer/supporter journeys, objectives and the role paid media plays in wider growth.
We are looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist to plan, manage and optimise paid digital campaigns across our core channels, including Meta, Google and TikTok, while helping us test and develop new acquisition channels.
This is a hands-on role with a strong strategic focus. You will be expected to understand campaign objectives, identify the right audience and channel approach, shape testing plans, interpret performance data and make informed recommendations that improve results over time.
You will manage paid activity across awareness, lead generation, supporter recruitment and fundraising campaigns, ensuring activity is insight-led, audience-focused and aligned with organisational priorities.
You will be confident moving between campaign delivery and strategic thinking, using data, creative insight and platform knowledge to improve performance and support growth.
Experience working in-house or agency-side with charities, non-profits, fundraising or supporter recruitment campaigns would be highly beneficial.
    Main Duties and Key Responsibilities
    * Develop paid media plans that translate campaign objectives into clear channel, audience, creative, budget and testing strategies.
    * Plan, build, manage and optimise paid campaigns across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
    * Own day-to-day campaign performance, making informed decisions on budget allocation, audience targeting, creative testing and optimisation.
    * Develop and deliver structured test-and-learn plans across creative, messaging, audiences, landing pages and conversion journeys.
    * Use campaign data, audience insight and platform performance to produce clear reporting, identifying opportunities, risks and recommendations.
    * Work collaboratively with digital, fundraising, communications and creative colleagues to ensure campaigns are strategically aligned, effectively delivered and compliant with brand, data protection and accessibility requirements.
    Experience, Skills and Knowledge
    * Strong hands-on experience planning, managing and optimising paid media campaigns across platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads and TikTok Ads.
    * Experience developing campaign strategies that connect objectives, audiences, channels, creative, budget and full-funnel activity.
    * Proven ability to deliver measurable results across performance campaigns, ideally including lead generation, supporter recruitment, fundraising, e-commerce or other conversion-led activity.
    * Strong analytical and technical understanding, including GA4, platform reporting, tracking, pixels, tags and conversion events, with the ability to turn data into practical recommendations.
    * Proactive and highly organised, with experience managing test-and-learn activity, using automation or AI-supported tools, communicating performance clearly and making confident recommendations for improvement.
    Desirable Experience
    * Experience working in-house or agency-side with charities, non-profits, fundraising campaigns or supporter recruitment activity.
    * Experience supporting acquisition campaigns, including lead generation, regular giving, donations, event recruitment or other conversion-led supporter journeys.
    * Familiarity with digital marketing and website platforms such as Dotdigital, WordPress or other content management systems.
    * Experience working with creative teams to brief, test and improve paid media assets.
    * An understanding of sensitive and responsible messaging within a charity or non-profit environment.
If your application is successful, you will be contact shortly.
