How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Managing the overall MEP quality assurance process across the project.

    *

Developing and implementing project-specific QA/QC plans and ITPs.

    *

Carrying out inspections of mechanical and electrical installations.

Ensuring works comply with drawings, specifications, standards and project requirements.

    *

Reviewing inspection and test records and ensuring documentation is completed correctly.

    *

Raising and managing NCRs, defects and quality issues through to resolution.

    *

Working closely with site teams and subcontractors to prevent quality issues.

    *

Coordinating with the client, consultants and project management team on quality matters.

    *

Monitoring installation quality and identifying areas for improvement.

    *

Supporting testing, commissioning and handover activities.

    *

Maintaining accurate QA documentation and project records.

    *

Ensuring all quality requirements are met ahead of project handover.

    About You

We're looking for an experienced QA/QC professional with a strong MEP background and a detailed understanding of mechanical and electrical installations.

    You will ideally have:

    *

Previous experience as an MEP QA Manager, QA Manager, QA/QC Manager or MEP Quality Manager.

    *

Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.

    *

Experience working for an MEP contractor or main contractor.

    *

Good understanding of ITPs, inspection processes and quality documentation.

    *

Experience managing NCRs and quality issues.

    *

Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

    *

The ability to work effectively with site teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients.

    The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MEP QA professional to join a reputable contractor and play a key role in delivering a major project.

If you're an MEP QA Manager, QA/QC Manager or experienced MEP quality professional looking for your next opportunity, we'd be keen to hear from you
