How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    This is an opportunity to deliver housing management and tailored support services that help Individuals maintain tenancies and move into independent, settled accommodation.     Originally established in 1985 as the Campaign for Single Homeless (COSH), we became Solo Housing (East Anglia) in 1996 and are a Registered Provider of Social Housing and a Registered Charity.

    Since our inception, we've worked tirelessly alongside trusted partner organisations, including local authorities, fellow registered providers, charities and private landlords. Together, we support single people who are facing homelessness, or at risk of losing their home.

From our current portfolio of around 80 homes, we are on track to grow to 130 homes in the next six months and to own at least 424 homes by March 2031.     Description

    Deliver housing management services to customers living in Solo Housing properties.
    Provide person-centred support to help customers maintain their accommodation and achieve positive outcomes.
    Work with customers experiencing homelessness or complex life challenges to improve their independence.
    Ensure compliance with housing policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
    Carry out regular customers visits, support planning, and welfare checks.
    Manage cases effectively, maintaining accurate records and reports on internal systems.
    Work closely with local authorities, landlords, and partner agencies to deliver effective support.
    Maximise rental income through effective tenancy and arrears management.
    Support customers to move on successfully into long-term, settled accommodationProfile

    A successful Housing & Support delivery Officer should have:

    Have experience delivering housing management and support services within a social housing setting.
    Be highly organised, able to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
    Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders.
    Have experience supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging circumstances
    Commutable distance of East Anglia.
    Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.Job Offer
