An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with strong practice experience to join a well-established and growing accountancy firm based in Surrey.
Working closely with senior management, you’ll take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients, review work prepared by junior team members and provide support and guidance across a broad range of accounting matters.
The role
Review management accounts and statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio
Provide advice on VAT, PAYE and general accounting matters
Support clients with accounting systems and software implementation
Prepare and review accounts for limited companies, sole traders and LLPs
Provide support to start-ups and growing businesses
Work on ad-hoc projects and client assignments
Deal with multi-currency accounting where required
Provide wider commercial and business advice to clients
Mentor and review the work of more junior team members
Work with modern accounting systems, including Sage and Xero
About you
You’ll be ACA or ACCA qualified with solid accountancy practice experience and the confidence to manage client relationships, review work and support more junior colleagues.
This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work with a broad client base, develop your advisory skills and progress within a supportive and forward-thinking practice.
