How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrical Installation Lecturer

    Manchester M11

    £34 per hour

    Full-time Monday to Friday

    Temporary role until 5th July 2027

    Ever felt like your Electrical Installation experience could make a real difference, not just by putting your technical skills into practice but by helping learners develop the skills and knowledge they need for their future careers? Here is your chance to do just that.

    This is a temporary, full-time Electrical Installation Lecturer role, working 40 hours per week from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday. You will deliver Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installation to learners, including evening classes, helping learners develop their practical skills, knowledge, and confidence.

    JOB ROLE:

    * Deliver high-quality teaching across Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installation

    * Deliver theoretical and practical learning within the classroom and workshop environment

    * Plan and prepare engaging lessons that meet programme requirements

    * Provide learners with clear guidance and constructive feedback throughout their studies

    * Monitor learner progress and identify areas where additional support may be required

    * Maintain accurate records relating to learner progress and achievement

    * Encourage learners to develop their knowledge, practical skills, and confidence

    * Promote a positive and supportive learning environment

    * Ensure teaching and learning is delivered to a consistently high standard

    * Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective delivery of the Electrical Installation provision

    * Deliver evening classes as required

    ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE:

    * Proven experience teaching Electrical Installation at Level 2 and Level 3

    * Strong practical knowledge and industry understanding of Electrical Installation

    * Ability to confidently deliver both classroom and workshop-based sessions

    SALARY AND BENEFITS:

    * Salary £34 per hour

    * 40 hours per week

    * Temporary position to 5th July 2027

    * Working hours are 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, 5 days per week
