Counter Balance Forklift/Narrow Aisle

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented bendiforklift driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating forklifts to handle materials, load and unload shipments, and support overall warehouse operations. Your mechanical aptitude and familiarity with warehouse management systems will ensure smooth, safe, and accurate handling of goods. Duties
* Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and shipping areas
* Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately
* Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for mechanical issues
* Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and organization of goods
* Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation
* Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move large or bulky items as needed
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
* Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution centre setting
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and tracking
* Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs
* Strong materials handling skills with an emphasis on safety and efficiency
* Ability to perform basic math calculations related to weights, measurements, and inventory counts
* Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes is preferred
* Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly and stand for extended periods
