How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Our client, a pioneering organisation in Digital Policing, is seeking a talented Digital Business Analyst to join their dynamic team in Wakefield. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to make a significant impact within the field of digital transformation and technology services.

    What Our Client Offers:

    Competitive Salary: £44,700 per annum
    Contract Length: 24 months
    Working Pattern: Full-time, with hybrid working options available.
    Driving Required: A full current UK driving licence is essential, as travel for business purposes is necessary.
    Location: Wakefield and West Yorkshire wide

    **Please note this role will be subject to Police Vetting, you will need to have been residing within the UK for a minimum of 5 years continually**

    Position Overview:
    The Digital Business Analyst will play a crucial role in engaging with business functions to ensure the successful execution and management of client expectations regarding technology changes. This position requires a skilled professional who can improve the alignment of Digital Policing services with business needs, communicate departmental strategies, and resolve service delivery issues effectively.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead by example, embodying the Police Code of Ethics and ensuring that values of dignity, fairness, and respect are upheld across all interactions.
    Collaborate with leadership teams to understand their strategic objectives and challenges, interpreting needs to identify innovative solutions.
    Analyse and design requirements for new systems and enhancements, ensuring alignment with user needs and Digital Policing infrastructure standards.
    Provide expert advice on technology change projects, employing tools such as systems analysis and process improvement methodologies.
    Manage small technology projects, utilising project management techniques (Prince 2, Scrum, DSDM, Agile) to ensure successful implementation.
    Engage with stakeholders at all levels to promote the Digital Policing strategy and build strong relationships with business functions.
    Diagnose problem situations and deliver effective resolutions, informing senior leadership decision-making.Ideal Candidate Profile:

    Proven experience in business relationship management and stakeholder management.
    Strong background in business analysis, including business systems and process modelling.
    Proficient in requirement gathering for technical solutions.
    Familiarity with emerging digital technologies and project management methodologies (Prince 2, Scrum, DSDM, Agile).
